Oman

I am not entirely sure what day it is, but it is our first morning in Muscat. I feel tired and confuse, but happy to finally be here. Even though I am sure that I am quite safe here I don't feel fully comfortable going into the streets. It is more industrialized that I had envisioned.
Being here is amazing. We just went to the roof and the weather is perfect and I think that Muscat is very beautiful from what I have seen so far. I can't wait to sit and sketch on the roof! You can see a lot of watchtowers on the mountainside. Down below there are people dressed in traditional Omani clothing. I really like that it is not overly westernized. I feel like I am not just on the other side of the world, I feel like I am in a new one!
